滞在先注意事項・ルール

学生ホテル

  • Please treat this GEC hotel as you would your own home.
  • 学生ホテルでは、自宅のように過ごしてください。
  • Please change your shoes when you enter. This will lessen your cleaning duty.
  • 土足禁止です。
  • Please clean you own bedroom. Ask if you are unsure where the relevant equipment is located.
  • 自室はご自身で清掃ください。清掃道具の場所が不明な場合は、スタッフにお尋ねください。
  • Wash your own clothes and do your own ironing. Do not leave washing outside after drying, remember others need to use the drying area also. Buy your own washing powder.
  • 洗濯物やアイロンはご自身で行ってください。洗剤はご自身でご用意ください。
  • Do not stay in the bathroom for more than 10-15 minutes. Most people can shower within this length of time.
  • シャワーの利用時間は10～15分程度です。
  • Clean the bathroom after you use it and please don’t track water out of the bathroom.
  • シャワー室内で水気を十分拭いて出てください。
  • Clean the kitchen area after you use it. Wash your dirty dishes and wipe the counter.
  • キッチンはきれいに利用ください。カウンターや使用した皿などはきれいに洗って、拭いてください。
  • Use your own toiletries (e.g. toothpaste, soap). How would you feel if someone used yours things without asking you first? Keep them in your room when not using them.
  • 歯磨き粉などの洗面具はご自身でご用意ください。また、自室で管理ください。
  • Ask permission from the other students before you invite others to your home.
  • 室内に外部の生徒を招待したい場合、他の滞在している生徒の許可を得てください。
  • Other students should not stay over late at night. Some students have early class and need to sleep early.
  • 外部の生徒の深夜遅くまでの滞在は遠慮ください。
  • No overnight guests.
  • 外部の生徒を滞在させてないでください。
  • Speak as much English as possible. Your English will improve quicker if you do.
  • 英語をできるだけ使用してください。
  • Turn TV and lights off at night and when not needed.
  • TVやライトは、夜または使用していない際は、電源を切ってください。
  • All Air-Conditioners are to be switched off when you are not in the room.
  • 部屋を空ける際は、エアコンのスイッチを切ってください。
  • Always lock the doors when leaving and coming back home. This is a safe area but don’t invite problems in with an open door.
  • 常に部屋、または学生ホテル入口の鍵をかけてください。

ホームステイ

  • Communicate with the Homestay family, and ask questions if anything is not understood. Participate in the family activities and offer to help with household chores such as meal preparation and clean up, tidying up after using living areas that are shared with the family etc.
  • ホームステイ内で不明な点があった場合は、家族に聞いてください。ファミリーのアクティビティに参加し、お手伝い等にできるだけ参加してください。
  • Promise to keep the lines of communication open at all times, and give your Homestay family, the same love and respect you would your own family.
  • 常に家族とコミュニケーションをとる事を心がけてください。また、日本の家族と同様にマレーシアの家族も尊重してください。
  • Keep bedroom clean and orderly, not leaving clothes or towels lying around on the floor or under the bed.
  • 自室をきれいに使用してください。
  • Take extra care with your house key. (i.e. Do not loan your key to anyone else.)
  • 家の鍵の管理に注意を払ってください。
  • Use a phone card for making long distance phone calls if calling from the Homestay phone.
  • 国際電話など長距離通話をする場合は、フォンカードを利用してください。
  • Supply own personal toiletries: toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, etc.
  • 歯ブラシなど洗面具は各自ご準備ください。
  • Ask for permission when attending activities and events outside of the normal scope of the Homestay family routine – like missing dinner, going to a friend’s home, having a friend stay over, etc. If you are not sure, please check with the Homestay family or Homestay Coordinator.
  • 夕食がいらない場合、友人宅に滞在する場合など、外出する場合は家族に連絡をしてください。
  • Work hard to adapt to Malaysian culture.
  • マレーシアの文化を受け入れるよう努力をしてみてください。
  • Respect the rights, privacy and the religious and political beliefs of each of the members of the household.
  • 家族のプライバシーや権利、宗教、政治思想を尊重してください。
  • If coming home later than expected, you must phone the homestay family as soon as possible to let them know.
  • 予定より帰宅が遅くなる場合、できるだけ早く、ホームステイ先に連絡をしてください。
  • Follow the Homestay family house rules, failure to do so will result in a first warning, any further breach of the homestay rules will result in the student being removed from the Homestay without refund and the student will either be sent home or must find their own accommodation.
  • ホームステイ先のルールを守ってください。ルールを破った際は、返金なくホームステイ先から移動いただきます。
  • Not smoke or bring alcohol into the home without the permission of the Homestay family. The use of illegal drugs and alcoholic beverages is strictly forbidden. Most families do not allow smoking in their homes. Never smoke in your homestay.
  • 禁煙です。また、家族の許可なくアルコールを家に持ち込まないでください。アルコールや違法薬物は固く禁止されています。違法薬物の場合、マレーシアでは死刑となります。
  • Inform the Homestay family about your family of your schedule for the day/week and also your estimated time of return when you go out.
  • ホストファミリーに、1週間または、1日の予定、帰宅時間を伝えてください。
  • Submit homestay payments direct to GEC only, not to the Homestay family. Full payment to be made in advanced prior to your arrival in Homestay or for those already staying in Homestay and extending, outstanding payments are to be made at least 2 weeks before your checkout date, if continuing your stay. See Homestay coordinator for payment due dates.
  • ホームステイ料金は、GEC日本事務所に渡航前にお支払ください。延長される場合は、チェックアウト2週間前までには全額お支払ください。
  • Not own or operate a motor vehicle while participating in the Homestay program unless approved by GEC and the Homestay family.
  • モーターバイクや自動車を運転しないでください。利用する場合は、GECの許可を得てください。
  • No Homestay fee refunds will be granted to those students who decide to leave the program earlier then the agreed date or if the student has breached homestay rules.
  • ホームステイのキャンセルや強制退去の場合の返金は一切いたしません。
  • Replace or pay for any damage to Homestay home or contents which occurred as a result of your negligence.
  • ホームステイ先の備品を破損した場合は、弁償していただきます。
  • Be enrolled and actively attend full time classes while staying in Homestay.
  • ホームステイ期間中は、GECの授業に参加ください。
  • Not to share Homestay family details with any other parties without the consent of GEC understanding that it is private information protected under the privacy act.
  • ホストファミリーの詳細を第三者に安易に話さないでください。ホストファミリーにもプライバシーがあります。
  • That GEC will select a Homestay family from those available, based on the information which I have provided, and that they cannot guarantee that all of my personal preferences will be met.
  • ホームステイは、GEC提携のホストファミリーの空き状況や事前に提出いただくホームステイシートを基に手配をしています。必ずしも趣味嗜好に合ったファミリーになるとは限りません。
  • Acquire complete medical insurance coverage either prior to leaving my country or upon arrival in Kota Kinabalu. GEC and the Homestay family cannot assume responsibility for expenses incurred from a student's illness or other medical liabilities.
  • 必ず海外旅行保険にご加入ください。GECやホストファミリーは、現地での病気やケガの経済的な負担は一切いたしません。
  • Contact Homestay Coordinator if there are any difficulties and request assistance when necessary.
  • ホストファミリーへ要望する際、難しい場合はホームステイコーディネイターに連絡をしてください。
  • Understand that for late flight arrivals after 10pm GEC will arrange a temporary one night stay at the GEC Student Lodge and the student will be transferred to the Homestay family the following day.
  • 深夜(10pm以降の到着)または早朝便でと到着、出発の場合、一時的にGECの学生ロッジに滞在いただく場合がございます。翌日ホームステイ先または空港に移動いたします。
  • Abide by the terms and conditions found on the GEC website and in this agreement realizing that failure to do so may result in removal from the program and in the case of custodianship students being sent home.
  • GECのウェブサイトおよび本合意書に記載されている条件を遵守頂かない場合、途中強制退学または帰国いただく可能性があります。その場合の返金は一切いたしません。
  • Respect the recommendations, suggestions and decisions of the Homestay Coordinator to assist in resolving any difficult situation. This may include, if necessary finding alternate accommodations.
  • 問題が発生した際のホームステイコーディネーターの提案やアドバイス、決定を尊重してください。他ホームステイ先の手配も含まれます。
  • Do your best to make the Homestay experience positive. Remember: The Homestay family is offering their home and volunteering their time. They will treat you as a member of their family, with respect and courtesy and in return expect the same of you. You are not staying in a hotel.
  • ホームステイ体験を前向きにとらえて、生活してください。ホストファミリーは、滞在先と時間を生徒に提供し、家族の一員として接しています。ホテル滞在とは異なります。
  • Remember that living cross culturally can be challenging and also very rewarding so have fun!
  • 異文化を体験していく上で、難しく感じることもありますが、一方で達成感のある貴重な体験です。ホームステイ生活を楽しみましょう！

コンドミニアム

  • Do not lean out of the balcony.
  • バルコニーから身を乗り出さないでください。
  • Please make sure all windows and entry/exits are closed and locked when not in the apartment, this includes the balcony doors for the units which have balconies.
  • 室内にいない場合、バルコニーの窓やドアを施錠しておいてください。
  • Do not be noisy in the room.
  • 騒音に気を付けてください。
  • No flame in the room.
  • 火の元に気を付けてください。
  • Please change your shoes when you enter. 
  • 土足禁止です。
  • Please store the valuable things(passport, money and etc) in the suitcase and make sure its locked. Please note that cleaner will do the cleaning for the rooms and kitchen area, and the linen will be changed once a week.
  • パスポートなどの貴重品は、使用しない場合、常にスーツケースなどに施錠をし管理してください。キッチンなどの共用エリアやリネンの交換は週一日清掃員が部屋に立ち入り行います。
